Miguel Carvalhinho
Miguel Nuno Marques Carvalhinho teaches Classical Guitar at the School of Applied Arts of the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco and he is a member of TECHN&ART - Technology, Restoration and Arts Enhancement Centre. He has a degree in teaching Portuguese and English from the Castelo Branco School of Education. In 1993 he entered the 'Conservatoire National de Région d'Aubervilliers - la Courneuve - Paris', in the class of Professor Alberto Ponce. In 1995 he graduated with the highest distinction: 'Premier Prix à l'Unanimité avec les Felicitations du Jury'. He obtained his 'Perfectionement' at the same Conservatoire. He was recognised by the University of Aveiro as a music teacher. He applied to the 'Conservatoire National de Musique et Danse de Paris' and reached the final. He attended the '6éme année of the École Normale de Musique de Paris' with Professor Alberto Ponce, where he also deepened his knowledge of musical analysis in the class of Professor Pasquet. In 2011, he completed his doctorate at the Universidad de Extremadura with a thesis on the collection, analysis and proposals for the dissemination of the repertoire of songs from the oral tradition of the villages of the Serra da Gardunha, in the district of Castelo Branco. In 2023 he completed a second doctorate at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, presenting a thesis defending the inclusion of the Viola Beiroa in the curriculum of vocational music schools in Portugal.

Inês Filipe portuguese pianist winning of numerous awards in national and international piano competitions, notably the “Antena2 Prize” of the XVII SIPO International Piano Festival, under the watchful eye of a prestigious panel of judges, that was attended by Boris Berman, Luiz de Moura Castro, Josep Colom and Paul Badura-skoda. Performs regularly in solo recitals, already performing in numerous countries such as Spain, England, France, Italy, Belgium, Germany, Thailand. Presents great versatility with regard to the choice and performance of the piano repertoire, including works in concert ranging from Bach to contemporary music. The interest in modern music and contemporary Portuguese music has played an active role in its dissemination, already having several premieres of works by Portuguese composers. Recorded the monographic CD "Claude Debussy - Piano Works, Preludes, Arabesques, Nocturne" for Da Vinci Publishing. With the publisher Musicamera Produções recorded the CD "Trio de Damas", nominated for best Portuguese classical music album at the Play2024 awards, dedicated exclusively to works by Portuguese composers. Attended the Conservatory of Music of Aveiro, in the class of Professor Patrícia Sousa. At the same time to the musical studies she attended the Bachelor in Civil Engineering at University of Aveiro, finishing this degree in 2014. Graduated in Piano performance from Stanislao Giacomantonio Conservatory in Italy, Conservatori Superior Del Liceu in Barcelona, University of Aveiro and piano pedagogy at Minho University, having studied with Rodolfo Rubino, Josep Colom, Fausto Neves and Luís Pipa.
